UNDERSTANDING THE TAXONOMIC AND FUNCTIONAL DIVERSITY OF MICROBIOTES USING A METAGENOMIC APPROACH
UNDERSTANDING THE TAXONOMIC AND FUNCTIONAL DIVERSITY OF MICROBIOTES USING A METAGENOMIC APPROACH
Objectives :
Learn to extract information from metagenomics NGS data.
Understand the taxonomic and functional diversity of microbiota of interest.
Know how to lead a statistical analysis in order to estimate the complexity of biodiversity.
Level of trainees :
Technicians or Engineers (biologists or bioinformatician).
Knowledge in Bash and R is a plus for the practical exercises of this training course.
Duration and location :
- Duration : 21 hours over 3 days (as this training includes bioinformatics and biostatistics aspects, it is possible to split the different steps in order to target the specific needs of the trainees over a shorter period of time if required).
- Location : Soladis training center in Paris or Lyon (to consult the calendar, click on “Sign up”) or directly at your site (minimum of 4 people)
Training fee :
- At Soladis training center : 1590€ tax-free per trainee
- Other : Contact us for an offer adapted to your company.

“New sequencing technologies nowadays make it possible to access the wealth of information from different human, animal or environmental microbiota. Soladis invites you to participate in this training in order to understand the concepts of metagenomic analysis and to allow you to extract information from this microbial diversity and to analyze it. This training, combining theoretical courses and practical exercises, is intended for people who wish to apprehend and understand metagenomic-type NGS analysis.”
Soladis invites you to participate in this training to understand the taxonomic and functional diversity of microbiota using the metagenomic approach. This training addresses all biologically oriented people who wish to understand NGS metagenomic analysis.
